Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited plans to set up a joint venture company in Australia for mining rock phosphate and supply it to its facilities in India. The co-operative would set up the joint venture with Legend International Holdings Inc. of Australia. It would mine rock phosphate at Lady Annie project in Queensland and would supply three million tonnes of rock phosphate to IFFCO annually.

Legend International Holdings Inc. announced that it has entered into a long term offtake and supply agreement for a minimum of 3 million tonnes annually of concentrated rock phosphate from its Lady Annie project in Queensland, Australia, with Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO). Legend and IFFCO have decided to pursue the Project in Joint Venture, the terms of which are under discussion.

Legend International Holdings Inc. filed its 10-K on March 17, 2008 for the period ending December 31, 2007. In this report its auditor, Pannell Kerr Forster, gave an unqualified opinion expressing doubt that the company can continue as a going concern.
